Ok, this is probably a really stupid question, but it's 1 in the morning and I've spent entirely too many hours working on organizing this extended family vacation so my brain is fried.:headache::surfweb:

Everyone in our party is on the DDP and everyone but our immediate family needs to purchase park passes for our stay.

Everyone wants to have this all paid for in advance. They don't want to stand there and mess with trying to coordinate the rooms and who's paying for what and all of that when we are there. They would like the smooth sailing option please.

My husband called and the CM told him we would have to pay the balance when we got there, that there was no way to pay it ahead of time.

Is this true? Is that CM off her rocker? IDK anymore. We are new members and this will be our first DVC stay, so I'm unfamiliar with the proceedure.

Help a poor girl out.:confused3

That's how it worked when I last went down, I had to pay for DDP and the park tickets when I got down there.

I charge everything to my room, pay for it with my card to get the reward dollars, then bring the folio home and divi up what people owe.
We don't do the dining plan so the dinner bill is an extra step.

Come to think of it, you could do it in reverse..
Have your guests pay you ahead of time, send the extra money to your credit card, and leave your card for room charges. If you're not comfortable with room charging, you can just pay for their tickets and dining when you arrive.

Your guests get their way to pay ahead of time, and you still get the reward bucks.

Yes, you need to pay for the DDP at check-in. You could collect the money from everyone now though and take care of the payment then.

Also - everyone could purchase park tickets thru undercover tourist. It will save them money and allow them to pay in advance. Or they could do the same thru Disney and pay a bit more. ;) If they want the tickets on their room keys the concierge at the hotel can handle that part.

You beat me. That is the EXACT post I was going to make. :cool1:
