making parasailing reservation for CC soon...best time?

I need to make our excursion reservations on Tuesday and we all want to do the parasailing on CC. Any suggestions on what time of the day would be best? First thing, end of the day? Is there a time that is better than another and why?

Also going to try for Palo dinner....I was thinking the 3rd or 4th night...any suggestion for which night I should choose and why?

We made our parasailing on CC as early in the day as possible, especially since it takes about an hour for the excursion. My DD and I had a start time of 10:30am and we finished at 11:30am, just in time to grab a bite of lunch at Cookies. After lunch we went to the Family Beach and stayed there until our 2:30pm Banana Boat Ride.

I was leaning more towards mornng but wasn't sure if afternoon would be better for some reason. I'm also planning on doing the banana boat ride but can't convince DD to go with me!

I think the morning is better. When we were there in April they cancelled all the afternoon parasailing because it got to be too windy. I made reservations for the earliest time so that it wouldn't break up the day at CC. When we got on board I discovered that somehow our reservations had been lost. I guess this is not too uncommon because the CM told me they have a time they don't advertise except on board to make sure that those in my situation can still go. If you want to go earlier than those times listed on the DCL site try to go to the excursion desk once on the ship and see if they have an earlier time.

Morning isn't always better. Last October, they cancelled the morning parasailing because of wind. The afternoon ones were still on since the wind had calmed down by then. Not sure if time matters for this since it just depends on Mother Nature and your luck.

thanks again for the replies...I guess I will see what they have available when I log on tomorrow. I still need to try for Palo reservations too...I was orginally thinking on the 4th night, but then I wondered if I should try for the 3rd night instead. The 3rd night is pirate night, right? If we have an earlier dinner time can I still make it to the party on deck and fireworks? What time tdoes that start?
