What time should I make ADR for all our character bfast meals: Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, Akerhus Princess, Cape May Cafe?
We are going to be there early Sunday-figure we will eat CS at Pop Century, then the next 4 days Character Bfast and the last day CS at Pop Century.
Our 7yr old and 11yr old girls love Bfast-but want to maximize the time we have in the parks and would like to be at the parks at the rope drop.
What time would you think to schedule bfast times? Are these good Character meals? What do you think about Mickeys backyard BBQ for Dinner one night?
Thanks so much! :)

CP- The earlier the better. Try to get in before RD on a non-EMH day. The walk down an empty MSUSA and pictures infront of the castle without everyone in the way is a nice perk.

CM- I would make this one for 15-20 mins AFTER RD. This gives you a chance to see the show and then walk to CR in plenty of time for your ADR.

Akershus- There isn't much of a show for EC RD. Just make your ADR for as early as you can this way you won't lose a lot of time in FW after your ADR. On non-EMH days FW opens at 9 AM.

Cape May- The earlier this ADR the more time you'll have in the parks, however, the earlier the ADR the bigger pain it is to get to. The easiest way to get to Cape May is to take a bus to DHS and then either catch the boat or walk to BC. It can be a long commute to do pre-RD.

If your going to do a dinner show your better off with HDDR. :thumbsup2

:)What is the HDDR dinner and show?
Getting to Cape May-how long walk? How much for boat ride and do they run every (15mins or so)?
Thanks!

Hoop de Doo Revue. I'd also recommend it. the Backyard Barbecue skews younger than your kids, at least younger than the 11 year old. However, if they really love the characters, HDDR has no Disney characters. Much better show though.

There is no charge for the boat ride if you are taking the boat from DHS to the Beach Club. The boat will stop at the Swan/Dolphin before going to Yacht/Beach. Don't know how long it takes between boats, not sure there is a set schedule. They're usually running about three boats and when one gets there it gets there. If you can spare the cash you are better off taking a taxi to the Beach Club for an early ADR.

What has worked well for us is booking late (around 10:30) bkfsts in the parks with early EMH. You can get a lot done at early EMH. We hit all our favs then head over to our adr. By then we are ready for a break & the kiddos seem to eat more than they would if we ate early. As for HDDR & MBYBBQ, the adults & children in our party prefer MBYBBQ. We've done it twice & HDDR once & we are all disappointed that there are no openings on our next trip for the bbq...
