Have a document open in word while reading this board. As you come acoss good ideas just copy and paste to word as you go. Your packing and reminder list will be done when you finish and neat enough everone in the family can read it.

I do something similar. Since I often read the boards while I'm at work as well as at home, instead of using Word, I use my yahoo email account. With Word, I'd either have to keep 2 lists (one at home, one at work), or continue emailing it back & forth to myself, yahoo email is much easier because I can access it from both places.

I don't even bother "sending" it when I'm done adding things to it. I just choose "save as draft". It saves it but doesn't send it. When I want to add more things to it, I go into my draft folder and there it is! I add more things and then save again. When it comes time for me to actually pack, I'll print it out as a checklist.
