I love my Disney Store plushies endlessly, but anyone else notice that, after a while, they lose their 'plushness'? Does anyone know of a few tricks to get their fur back to the original fluffy and softness it was when purchased?

I'm talking like the Pooh bear Disney Store Authentic, of Tigger.

Maybe try spot cleaning it (Unless can machine wash safely) with a bit of ORVUS, Woolite or Oxy Clean (Stain remover/detergent) then put it in the dryer on AIR Cycle only for about 20 plus minutes, at some point hopefully it will be refluffified.

Good Luck, report back :) and continue on as you were. :)

Try the washer on delicate. We revived my husband's Dumbo from when he was a kid and now my son loves all over dumbo.

This little guy is 25 years old!

If it's a fur style plush (vs a looped pile) after hand washing and drying it, gently comb it with a smallish toothed comb. It'll fluff right up.

wow..he's in amazing shape for being 25 years old and having been loved and played with!

He was pretty yucky before he took a ride in the washer, and I had to stich hat up a bit, but I am very pressed with the quality of the Disney animals. DS has plenty of new plushies and Dumbo is still one of his favorites!
