Hi. Going with my nieces and nephews in January on the Wonder. I was planning on making a countdown chart with them as they are young and have a hard grasp of time. Anyone have pictures of one’s they’ve done. I am an accountant so my creative juices are slim to none. Thanks!

All I did with my daughter (3 years old) was make a construction paper "Mickey chain" with different colors of "links". We made it when we were 90 days out, and we put the chain in her room. Each morning I would take a link down from the chain. At the 30 day mark, I had her start counting the number of days left -- I also moved it closer to her level (pinned up with a pushpin) because it dind't have to "loop" along her wall anymore. Now that we are down to the 7 day mark, she LOVES taking her link down every morning!

We did the paper chain thing too.. but from 30 days down.. :grouphug: I made it out of different colored construction paper and then found disney clipart somewhere (cant remember where now for the life of me) and then printed out them and cut them and pasted one to each chain.. every night at bedtime they took turns on who would rip the chain off... It was a blast for them.. :flower1: :flower1: :flower1: :flower1: :flower1:

I also did the chainlink from the 30 day mark. The outside of each link has the day number on it and the inside has something fun we are going to do or see on our vacation such as Tinkerbell flying down off the castle, Princess breakfast, Illuminations, etc. She is getting such a kick out of it.

We did our chain at 100 days out, which was exciting to us since we have been mentally planning this for over a year. The girls take one down each day, its the first thing they do in the morning!! lol

We do the chain thing too. We usually do 100 days out but this time I think we've decided to do 50. I cant wait for me and my son to get started making it. Every time we go we try to do a different Disney "theme" with the chain. We're leaning towards doing a red, black, and white chain this year with the last day being decorated in glitter. I like the other posters idea of puttling on the inside something we're looking forward to doing on our trip though. I might just use that idea too. Thanks for putting that little bug (oops I should say mouse) in my ear. LOL
