Making Christmas Cards

So I have some Christmas/holiday-ish stamps left over from a project I found here on making a Post-It note holder (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1874772).

I decided I want to try and make my own Christmas cards this year since I already have these stamps. The problem is, I don't know where to start! I'm not really a "stamper", I just bought them less than a month ago, so I could really use beginner tips!

I read about an embosser and powder, so I will look for those on sale when I can.

Any info. or resources will help!

Do you know who the manufacturer is on the stamps? Splitcoaststampers has a search function where you could look up projects specific to those stamps which could help you a lot. Let me know if you need help with that website.
