making blankets - who accepts blankets besides project Linus

Hi! does anybody know of a GAD organization that accepts blankets. I bought a bunch of fleece to make blankets for project Linus only to find out that my local chapter is not taking anymore blankets for GAD. Thanks!

You could always find another chapter that is accepting blankets and then ship them. I think a number of people on the boards have had success with that.

I am making blankets for Binky Patrol-- I am not sure of all their locations.

I just signed up for PL out of Connecticut. Put in zip code 06062 and the opening will come up.
This is a mail in only project so it is perfect for anyone in the country and for families to do it together at home. There were almost 200 openings a few minutes ago.

I just contacted Binky Patrol in a neighboring city. Neither they or PL list a number of volunteers needed. I am hoping that means they are open-ended rather than no longer accepting blankets. They do come up in the search. Otherwise I will have to try the PL chapter mentioned above.

Look up Project Linus in Morgantown, WV or Los Angeles, CA.
Morgantown finally got back to me about a week later. The Los Angeles had immediate sign up, all instructions, 60 day completion date, & mailing instructions.
