Making BDs special @ Disney for friends/family

I will be going to Disney during the week of my friend's birthday. It has been a very tough year, so I want to make this day extra special.

Any suggestions or ideas of things I can do or prepare for thier BD at the park, dinner reservation, or hotel room?

We will be in MK for most of the day (FP+ already booked), and going to AK for dinner.

well to start, just adding onto your plans, I would say get a neat cake preordered for the dinner at AK.....but a tour at MK would be neat too!

Get them a birthday button to wear (you can get them from guest relations at the park). My sister got me one last year when we were at Disneyland for my birthday, and I couldn't believe the number of cast members and even guests that wished me a happy birthday. It was really a cool experience.
