How wonderful that Devon will get to join you!!! I nannied for several families before having children of my own and there really isn't any great way to describe the bond between a nanny and her charges

This is another one of my SUPER busy times at work, so my online time will be VERY limited for the next week. I'm hoping I get home from work early enough tonight to share some of the AMAZING BIG GIVES we received the past couple of days!!!

And with some bitter sweet news...
Mason and Mallory turned 1 yesterday!!! My babies are no longer babies, but they are toddlers now. That was seriously the fastest year of my life! We are having their birthday party next weekend and I'll make sure to share some pictures!

Thank you all for your patience! Between working full-time and having 3 kids, I’m a little stretched thin. I typically post on a 1-2 day lag, but I am a few days behind right now.

We only have 34 days left!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Ok and now for the good stuff!!! Our first Big Give comes from mphalens!

The first thing was an awesome travel art kit. I have never seen one of these before, but this is seriously so cool! On the outside was a Captian Jack Sparrow Mickey Mouse…

On the inside there were places to hold a sketch pad, water color pads, and other activity pads. There were also slots for mechanical crayons and paint brushes. This was so cool and Mitchell can’t wait to play with it on the plane….it was really hard to convince him to wait until the plane to use it all! There are even skulls in the black fabric – they look like they were bleached in, were they?

The kids also got really cute Thing 1, Thing 2 and Thing 3 shirts for Universal!!!

Just to prove that we really do try to get a picture of all 3 of them in their new shirts….

It’s much easier to get them by themselves, but even then the babies try to attack the camera, so I have to block them off with my knees!

And last, but never least…

Our next Big Give is from Nini – I’m sorry I don’t have your Dis name!

We received the CUTEST handmade Winnie the Pooh diaper bag!!!

We found out that diaper bags don’t count towards our carry on allowance for the plane and we get to have 2 since we have 2 babies, so this is definitely going to come in handy!!!

The last Big Give for today is from dbarker!!!

I need to apologize because I didn’t get any pictures of Mitchell with this because as soon as he opened the box he started going crazy and everything went all over the living room! I set the camera down to go look with him and I didn’t realize I didn’t get any pictures until after he went to bed.

I carefully organized everything…check this out!!!

Here are a couple of closer shots of this mega stash!

Look at these handmade luggage tags! On the inside our name and phone number is embroidered!

And luggage handle wraps!

The rest of the items were panchos, ID holder, glow sticks, glow necklaces, magnets, night lights, stickers, card games, beach balls, temporary tattoos, hand sanitizer, markers, crayons and much more! What a great idea!!

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and hope those of you who were on Spring Break or who are currently on Spring Break had/have a great time!!! We spent Easter with my family and Mitchell had a great time dyeing Easter eggs! Can you see how messy his hands are? They are still colored

Mitchell is on Spring Break this week, but unfortunately since this is my busy time at work, I don’t get to take any time off to enjoy it with him. A couple weeks ago we had some really nice days so Mitchell and I played hookie from work & school and we went to the zoo. Mitchell and I don't get much time alone since we had the babies, so we had a great time and I think we'll have more of these days.

In this picture he said he was sitting on Mufasa!

And of course a trip to the zoo wouldn’t be complete without sitting on a big pile of fake poop!

Before we left, we had to take a spin around on the carousel…he looks so big in this picture!

Just in case you need to purchase refills . . .
The drawing pad came from JoAnn's fabrics ($1 bins)

Paint with Water book came from Walmart ($1 each, usually on those weird plastic hangers on the ends of aisles in the toy department or the stationary area) . . .I've even found licensed character ones before (Batman and Hello Kitty) . . .Michaels also has them from time to time for $1.

stickers and other supplies (not the Crayola twistables or the paint brush, but those came from Walmart or Michaels or JoAnn's with coupons . . . and if you get desperate Q-tips work great as a paintbrush) are from either the party section at Walmart or the Easter section. . .

Hope that helps! I didn't have time to make my boys their Artist Portfolios for Easter like I'd hoped . . . but I'm always on the look out for new things to put in them

I also have some Big Gives to share!!!

This first one is from DiznyDi!!!

Mitchell opened it up and found this embroidered Disney 2012 bag! This will definitely be useful for our trip!

Inside was this super cute Stitch shirt!! I know I’ve mentioned this before, but Stitch is currently Mitchell’s favorite, so he LOVED this!! My rule with the Big Gives is he can't wear any of the clothes until his trip...I won't be surprised if he somehow sneaks this shirt early!

Also inside was this adorable embroidered Mickey towel with Mitchell’s name on it! Look how cute the Mickey face is on this!

But that’s not it, not only did he get Mickey towels, but we all got one!! Aren’t these awesome!! They totally make me want to redo the bathroom in a Mickey theme!

There’s even more!! Mason got a matching Stitch shirt and Mallory got an adorable embroidered Lilo dress!!

The next Big Give is from ellenbenny!!!

Before we found out Mitchell was selected to be part of the Big Give, I had told him we would get him and his brother and sister matching outfits to wear one day since he loves them all to match. I pulled up the Disboutiquers photo album and we flipped through pages and pages of pictures looking for the perfect outfits for them. As soon as he saw the Animal Kingdom safari vests, he said he had to have them. A couple months go by and he received the Mickey Mail from Ellen…guess what was inside….

Ok, to say he was excited is a bit of an understatement!

And the back with the ruffled butt!! Oh my!!

The other awesome thing is Mallory’s dress is reversible! Check out the other side:

I have another Big Give to share!!!!

This one came from Gryffinclaw!!!

We received a box FULL of stuff!! There were coloring books, glow sticks, band aids, silly putty, Neo to Go!, panchos, molefoam, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, bubbles, a doodle sketch, chapstick sunscreen and blister band aids!!

Look at all of this!!

Then we also all received Lion King shirts…which just happens to be a family favorite!! We all LOVE the Lion King! Look how cute these shirts are!!

As some of you know, we made appointments for the boys to get their hair cut at the Magic Kingdom. This will be Mason’s first hair cut and look what he’s going to be wearing!!! Oh my goodness, this is so adorable!!!

Thank you all! I am certain our trip will be amazing because of all of you wonderful Big Givers!! It is amazing to see Mitchell's face light up every day when he is looking at what he has received! We really can't wait until after Mitchell's trip when we can start paying it forward to others!
