Ok so we’ve booked our package though Costco and we get “free travel to and from airport as well as free hotel and theme park self parking”

So I’m looking all over and can’t see how this works. Can anyone else that’s booked through Costco give me their input? Do we get vouchers to parking, parking tags etc? I can only find the airport to hotel transportation

Are you staying at a Disney hotel? Free parking at both the hotel and the theme parks are a benefit of staying onsite. It won't matter at the resort, and they'll scan your magic band at the parks so you don't have to pay for parking.

It might depend on when you are going. If it is during hurricane season, booking directly through Disney is best. We checked into Fort Wilderness 2 days before Ian hit. The Fort was emptied, our camper was parked in the Magic Kingdom parking lot and we were put up in Port Orleans for a week. No increase in price. Booking not directly through Disney, you are on your own. So sad, too bad.

You're saying if you booked through COSTCO you would have been left at FW to fend for yourself?

NOT Booking direct may have had benefits if you wanted to cancel your trip. I doubt it, but its possible Once you check in you're treated the same

Every guest of a Disney owned and operated resort gets free parking at the resort and the theme parks, regardless of how you booked your stay. But if you booked a third party hotel in your package instead (eg Swan or Dolphin, which are some of the more common Costco package hotels) then you’ll need to contact Costco Travel tbh nobody here will be able to tell you how that works.

More information is needed before we can help! As others have stated, if you are staying at a Disney resort, theme park and resort parking is always included, free, it's not a benefit Costco is "giving" you. Transport to your hotel, that is another question because that is no longer included in a Disney resort stay. Maybe Costco gives you Mears vouchers?

I am also not clear on the supposed free airport transportation would work. Disney discontinued DME a few years ago and while technically 'free', it was obviously baked into the price of whatever resort you were staying. I have never heard anyone else on this forum talk about any sort of free airport transportation. Unless you are getting reimbursed by Costco, there is a charge for every form of airport transportation currently offered.

If everyone staying at a Disney resort gets free parking, then Costco advertising it as some sort of perk booking through them seems misleading or perhaps a misunderstanding of their offer.

A few of the COSTCO packages include airport transfers. Click through to the booking details. Mears Connect transfers are included in the package price.

Sometimes a contracted hotel rate can only be sold as a package. A package generally includes air. COSTCO will Sometimes be able to use that loophole.

Edited to add
I don't think transfers were included with Disney operated hotels.

Posters asked how it works. You're given a voucher for transfers. Years ago paper. I suspect the voucher is via GR code
