Making ADRs

I know you can't make ADR's until 180 days out (for most restuarants). For our April trip, that puts me at the middle of October (trip will be April 15-20).. I was thinking of waiting until 180 days prior to my last day of vacation, so I could make all the ADR's at once. Do you think this approach would work (ie. I would be able to get my times/places) or do you think I should call each day for ADR's? We've never been to WDW in April, so I'm not sure how busy it gets, or if most people are even aware of the ADR process.

Thanks for all your help!

It really depends on where you're looking to eat. If you want something like CRT of LeCellier, I'd book 180 days from the date (if you're staying onsite you can make 10 days worth of ADRs 180 days back from your check in date).

Other than that, I made all mine 180 from my last date without a problem

Thanks! We're actually looking for ADRs at Whispering Canyon, Artist Point (we're staying at WL), Citricos and Brown Derby. Maybe the Princess breakfast in Epcot (I know I'll have to try to reserve that right when it opens!)...Thanks again for the feedback!

Just made our ADRs before I went to work this morning. All went well and I got everything we wanted! :thumbsup2

I think if you made them 180 days from your departure you will be fine. That's what I have done my past 3 times with no problem.
