We are going to 8 days in Nov/Dec with 8 people on DxDP also and have most of the same ADRs in mind. They all sound great to me. Have to love the Deluxe dining, my DH asked the other day if we were going to WDW to eat. Well, of course!!!

One suggestion I would make is trying Whispering Canyon in WL. One of our musts.

I also noticed we will be at WDW the same week, we are at POP. Maybe we will see you at one of the restaurants. We are planning on 50's PT for dinner same night as you.

I just wanted to say I would use 1 credit on the 50s Prime Time instead of The Plaza lunch the last day. I think paying OOP for that meal would cost less, saving you a few bucks.

We're doing the DXDP in August and we'll also be eating at all restaurants you will as well. Looking forward to trying Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Narcoosee's, Cape May all for the first time.

We've never done the deluxe plan so we have not done a lot of the restaurants you are dining at. At the ones we have dined at, here are our thoughts:

50's Primetime -- it's been many years, but we always enjoyed
Crystal Palace -- a must do for us every year for breakfast (we've never done lunch or dinner)
LeCellier -- one of our two favorites
Liberty Tree -- we did for the first time ever after all of our trips for lunch and were surprised at how good it was
Rose & Crown -- we always do either this or Biergarten every trip -- we enjoy immensely
Cape May Cafe -- we've only done dinner--okay; we are trying breakfast this year because of all the great reviews
Brown Derby -- we did not like at all -- my DH hated the grapefruit cake and our service and food was not good at all
Coral Reef -- again, it has been many years and the menu was much smaller than it is now, but we enjoyed when we did go
Plaza Restaurant -- another must do for us every year -- we love it

Tusker House and Boma breakfasrs are both VERY good! :thumbsup2

And we love Kona for dinner. I'm having dinner there on my birthday because Citrico's is closed on Tuesdays.

I wouldn't be concerned at all about Flying Fish. It has been consistently EXCELLENT for us for the past two years (3 visits)!:thumbsup2

Lunch - Beaches & Cream A fav of ours, great hot dogs and burgers...I prefer the onion rings instead of fries. Love the vanilla cokes. I have pics from our April trip in my signature.
Dinner - 50's Primetime Cafe (must dine for me) Great fried chicken platter, you can order just white meat

Day 2: Unless you are going to a very early breakfast and a later dinner I dont think you will be hungry enough for 2 buffets in one day....that would totally do me in!
Breakfast - Tusker House (never been before for breakfast)
Dinner - Crystal Palace (must dine for me)

Day 3:
Dinner - Le Celler Great mushroom filet but I am mad that they took the salad options away

Day 4:
Breakfast - 1900 Park Fare (never been here before for breakfast) The worst breakfast buffet we ever went to. Way to loud and noisy, way to crowded and packed in like sardines. We went at 10:30 and the food was terrible, hard and dried out and not replenished

Day 6:
Breakfast - Cape May Cafe (never been here before) Our second favorite breakfast (first is Boma). Great bread pudding! Try to go right when they open I have a ton of buffet pics from April in my signature

Day 8:
Breakfast - Restaurant Akershus (never been before) Good food, loved the hashbrown casserole and the fresh fruit, great character interaction
Dinner - Yachtsman Steakhouse (have not been in a really long time) We love this place. I have a ton of pics from April in my signature

Day 9:
Early Breakfast - Boma (never been before) OMIGOD this is THE best breakfast ever. We went twice last month because the first time was just sooo good! I have a ton of pics from both ressies in my signature

Day 10:
Dinner - Kona Cafe (have not been in a really long time) Went last year and it was very good, loved the wings, the bread is amazing and the teriyaki filet was fantastic. I ordered the shrimp noodle dish but it comes out very very sweet and loaded with pineapple and peppers...blech

Day 11 (Last Day)::sad1:
Breakfast - Crystal Palace (must dine for me) Always a winner with us
Lunch - The Plaza Restaurant
Its ok, just sandwiches.....

We just returned from a 7-day trip to WDW (on the DDP) and our 2 favorite meals were Le Cellier and Narcoosee's.

I had the prime rib at Le Cellier...it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For dessert I had the maple creme brulee, and I've been dreaming about it since I got home. (The Glowtini was also a real treat!) We were there on my birthday and our server brought out a cup of chocolate mousse on a plate...all decorated with "Happy Birthday" and a candle. So sweet!

Narcoosee's was the total package for us...beautiful resort, dining on the water, view of the castle, delicous food, great server, incredible Raspberry Mojito, and to-die-for almond crusted cheesecake. We loved everything about this dining experience and I highly encourage you to GO FOR IT!

Day 2: Unless you are going to a very early breakfast and a later dinner I dont think you will be hungry enough for 2 buffets in one day....that would totally do me in!
Breakfast - Tusker House (never been before for breakfast)
Dinner - Crystal Palace (must dine for me)

Was planning on getting an early ADR (like 8am) @ Tusker House, then probably a 5pm or 6pm at Crystal Palace

Day 4:
Breakfast - 1900 Park Fare (never been here before for breakfast) The worst breakfast buffet we ever went to. Way to loud and noisy, way to crowded and packed in like sardines. We went at 10:30 and the food was terrible, hard and dried out and not replenished

WOW. I've been reading such on the ratings board @ WDWIG.

Day 6:
Breakfast - Cape May Cafe (never been here before) Our second favorite breakfast (first is Boma). Great bread pudding! Try to go right when they open I have a ton of buffet pics from April in my signature

Am planning on getting an early ADR (like right when they open).

Day 11 (Last Day)::sad1:
Lunch - The Plaza Restaurant
Its ok, just sandwiches.....

Am on the fence with this one. Was thinking about trying Whispering Canyon Cafe.

That's good to know. Just seen alot of negative reviews lately and was concerned this may be a mistake.

I'm only questioning Hoop De Doo, considering you have no children. For me I would rather eat somewhere better than deal with the kids, noise, and mediocre food. JMO - don't mean to burst your bubble.

Where would you dine instead? I'm looking to do another 2 credit (worthy) restaurant. Planning on going to California Grill, Brown Derby, Yachstman, Narcoossee's and the Flying Fish.

I would do Jiko instead of the Hoop. I really like all of the others that you have planned. We are also doing the deluxe and have a lot of the same things planned that you do. I might do Ohana instead of 1900 park fare...we didn't care for 1900 when we went but others love it.

The problem for me with Jiko is that I'm a really picky eater and did not see anything on there that I would actually eat.

I agree with the other posters who rec. going to Jiko or Artist Point rather than the HDR. I am a very fussy eater and I loved Jiko. The filet there is so very yummy.

If you are talking about breakfast at WCC, I would give it a shot. I have not dined there for breakfast, but would give it a try.

We've had dinner there 5 times in the last 4 years, and I won't be going back. The third time was quite a disappointment after the first three times, in food quality, entertainment and mostly service. Decided to give it another chance and it only disappointed once again. Of course, getting the same slow and not-too-good server AGAIN a year later did not help matters.

Have you considered breakfast at The Grand Floridian Cafe rather than 1900?
Same location, but a more relaxed setting. We've had breakfast here twice and really enjoyed it both times.

As far as another 2 TS, I would also recommend Artist Point. Very good food and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Also, gives you a meal at Wilderness Lodge should you forgo WCC!

Good luck.

Just a few comments based on our April 08 trip....We had dinner at Tokyo Dining, and it was fantastic. Our table overlooked the lagoon, the sushi and tempura were excellent, and the service was outstanding. We visit Boma each trip and it's consistently excellent, lots of delicious healthy choices and good Kenya coffee in a presspot. California Grill was my special bday dinner and it was fabulous. DH had the sushi, I had halibut, great wine, great dessert, great service. Kona is also consistently very good. I had the teriyaki steak and it was excellent, and save room for dessert. Kona also has great breakfast. You can also watch the electric water parade at 9:30, followed by Wishes, from the Poly beach. Have a fantastic trip!
