We may have a last-minute change in plans...
My friend is scheduled to fly in Monday evening from PHL and my DD and I are arriving from GRR. We are both flying on non-stop flights that are scheduled to arrive within 10 minutes of each other, around 7:45pm. My friend received an email from SW, notifying her that her flight may experience delays/cancellations due to weather and she was offered the opportunity to change her flight at no charge. Since she is going to be spending Sunday night in an airport-area hotel and just hanging around the airport until her evening flight, she would like to change to the morning non-stop flight instead. She would then take the Mears Connect shuttle (she's in NO rush) over to AKL and hang out there until DD and I arrive in the evening. She was concerned about being able to check in to the room without me there. I assured her that she is listed on the reservation and I have already done online check in so she should be all set. She may have to go to the front desk to get the room number, but once the room is ready, she will be able to access it, correct? I want to make sure I give her correct information before she makes her final decision and changes her flight.
