If you are an AP and have signed on for the DDE, do you need to let them know that if you are making ADR or can you just let your waiter/waitress know upon seating?

Sometimes they ask when you make your ADR but you can always just let your waiter/waitress know when they come to the table.

I was just in WDW this past March. I had an AP and DDE card. I did *not* have to give this information when making my ADRs. We just told our waiter/waitress when we sat down for the meal. Once, we forgot to tell at the beginning of the meal, so the waiter just had to go back and adjust the bill. No biggie!

I never mentioned it when making my ADRs, but tried to remember to at the beginning of the meal. More often than not I'd forget to and the server would just adjust the bill.

We usually just give the card to the server along with the credit card and everything gets adjusted. Once the server asked before the meal, so when he brought the bill out it already had the discount on it.
