Making ADR Thread - hold times, IT vents, and general whine!

I am on hold now-but so far only 12 min- I need O'hana's May 7th/or Chrf Mickeys-breakfast.
Also have to see if 1900 is open for Mother's day

Nothing I wanted for Mother's day.

I just called 1407 wdw dine. Rang once and said..... all lines are busy now call back later!

I called right at 7 this morning, was transferred a couple of times, spent a total of 2 hours on hold, then was disconnected. Tried again, transferred twice again, total of 45 minutes on hold, then...hung up on, in the middle if a song!. I had to leave to teach Sunday School, so I left my husband with instructions and the task of making our ressies. He later told me he spent 30 minutes on the phone, complained to a CM that we have been disconnected twice this morning when she tried to transfer him. She assured him he wouldn't be disconnected again. Soon later-dial tone.
I'm trying again now. This is really getting old.

I was on hold for Two Hours I couldn't get Tusker House Breakfast for the day I wanted so I picked a different day. I also could not get Fantasmic Package for either of our DHS Days. I could have had us at seperate tables but decided not to.

Are these crazy wait times a reflection of changes in their ADR system, or is it just seasonal?

I only go during value season and I don't remember ever having to wait more than maybe 15 minutes to book ressies...but my last trip was in Sept. 2008.

I think they really need to come up with some sort of online ADR system.

I made it through after about 20 minutes on hold. The two hours I was on hold this morning was for nothing- I could have had more sleep! But the CM I talked to was nice and I got everything I wanted at fairly close times, even Le Cellier and Fantasmic dining package. If you are on hold now, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm a bit bummed and had to share with the people who will understand. I only wanted to make two ADR's for this year's trip, and I'm sure they are limited with single diner tables. I was able to get Boma for my arrival day near to the time I wanted. However, I could not get the Tusker House breakfast at 8ish am to enter the park early. They had like 9ish on a regular day and 8ish on an EMH day, but those options will defeat my purpose of being in the park before it opens.

Two years ago, I called like 2 months before we went (and it was 180 days of ADR back then, wasn't it?) and we got 8:10 at Crystal Palace with no problem. Guess dining is more popular this year? I'm disappointed, but I will still have a great trip!

sure it's 11:00 PM Eastern time. You've got plenty of more time to be on hold.

ive been trying all day and have been on hold about 30-40 minutes for the last 3-4 times i tried and i just give up. right now i am on hold for 25 minutes

I am pretty sure its 10:00 p.m. EST. I hate to tell you, but people have been holding two hours or more lately. Its a new system and not very many cm's know how to use it. Also, some people are getting disconnected after as much as two hours on hold. Hang in there, unfortunately for now, its par for the course. Good luck!

They will answer all of the calls who are on hold before they close down for the night. They do stop taking new calls at 10pm Eastern, but they'll still get to you before they go home for the night.

If at all possible I would not call on Sundays to make ADR's!!!!!!!!!!!! With 195 guests on hold at some points and a 45 minute wait I would try to choose any other day!!! Tues-Fri seem to be much better!!!
