Making ADR Reservations

I know we should make our ADRs at 180 days. For me that is tomorrow. My question is what time of the day do we make them? Is it midnight tonight or 6:00AM tomorrow? I've seen both times listed but maybe I'm getting them confused with FP+?

You can make ADRs online at 6am EST or by phone at 7am EST.

Yesterday was my day for ADRs. I made some at around 9:00 am (CST) and some around 5:30 pm. I was able to get everything I wanted at the exact times I was looking for! Ohanas for dinner showed up on almost every day of our trip that I was looking for dinner adrs. I booked it for our arrival day. I also got Cinderella Castle breakfast with no problem! BOG was available a few of the mornings I was looking for something else.

I have a question for all of you experienced at making ADRs. We want to try and get an dinner ADR for the Skipper Canteen but we can't book that ADR yet because it is not open. Should we book an ADR for somewhere else and then change it to the Skipper Canteen once we can make an ADR for it or not bother making any ADRs until the Skipper Canteen is available?

Make an ADR. When Skipper opens for ADRs it may be difficult to get one if you aren't online when it happens, and no one knows when that will be.

I would book an ADR for that night now. That way you are guaranteed a spot. You can cancel and rebook when Skipper Canteen is available

Sorry can someone tell me about Skipper Canteen? Any ideas of opening dates? And possibility of securing an ADR? I have had no luck with BOG the entire week we are going to be there and heard that SC is going to be in adventure land, opening late 2015 but that's it.

Not much.

Nope. Disney has been very hush-hush. According to CMs, no menu or soft open date yet. Servers are in training.

And possibility of securing an ADR?

That is also a mystery. With no open date and no publicity, there's no ADR availability yet.

Make an ADR with what is currently available. SC will almost certainly be open by the time you go; when they release menu and ADRs, you can try to switch.
