Making ADR question

We are planning our first trip for January so I'm still learning about all things WDW!

I am able to make my ADRs this month (180 days out). I understand that CRT is the hardest ADR to get, so I plan to ask for that one first, knowing time is of the essence.

My question is... if we want to go to CRT on the the 6th day of our trip, will the CM let me make that ADR first if I'm calling 180 days from the first day of our trip, rather than 180 days from the day we want to go to CRT? Does my question make sense?

Yup, should be OK. It's 180 days from the start of your vacation....Good luck!

Yes, it is 180 days from the start of your vacation and you certainly should try to secure this CRT reservation first that morning. That said, they only release a few tables for the 180 + 10 booking. You may not get it, and be told to call back at Exactly 180 days from the day you want the reservation for. They release many more on that date.

and all that is assuming you're staying on site at a disney owned hotel.

otherwise it's 180 days from the day of your specific ADR which is probably your best bet for CRT anyway, not that you shouldn't try earlier if you can.
