Making 2 ressies into 1?

Hello!

I have a question. DH and I are traveling with 2 friends on July 3rd, and will be at Epcot. We want to eat at Rose & Crown. I have a reservation for 2 at 750pm, and she has a reservation for 2 at 750pm (it wouldn't show up for a party of 4). Is there anyway to make this into one reservation for 4? We would obviously like to sit together. I know rose and crown doesn't have many 2 top tables anyway (DH and I have always been seated at a 4 top 4+ times), so if I ask nicely at check in to be seated together do you think it would be an issue? I'd prefer to just make it one reservation for 4, but I'm not sure that it is possible.

Has anyone done this? Were you all able to sit together?

Of course you can make your ADR for any size you want, as long as there is availability. One of you can make the ADR for 4, and then you can cancel the unneeded one. If an ADR for 4 isn't available, just ask to be seated together when you arrive. You may have to wait a few minutes extra. And if you want to split the bill, just tell your server when he takes your order.

The issue was even when both 2's were available, the time didn't show for 4. I'm planning on just asking when we get there to be seated together, I'd just prefer to have the reservation be one beforehand if it's at all possible. I usually go solo or with DH, so it's not a problem I commonly run into/have experience with.

If you really want just the one reservation for 4, just keep checking the site. People cancel and change their ADRs all the time. Otherwise, you should be fine as you are now.

I've been checking, no worries! (: Just wanted to see if there was a way to make it into a single reservation.

Nope. They must have lots a tables for two, and I don't believe there's much room to push tables together. You can show up and ask to be seated together, but there's no guarantee.

1. When you were checking there were tables for 2 available, but all the tables for parties of 4 were already booked which is why you could not book a single reservation for 4.

2. You cannot combine 2 reservations to make it a single reservation because each reservation is based on table size. When you check in you can request that you be seated together and the castmembers will do their best, but there is no guarantee. You may have to wait longer or if it is very busy they may not be able to honor your request.

Keep checking online to see if a cancellation for 4 comes up so you won't have to worry about whether you will be seated together.
