Make Your Own Princess Crown Question

Hi,

When we were in WDW this May I noticed that World of Disney and one of the Grand Floridian Gift Shops had an area where little girls design their own princess crown by snapping on jewels and other DP embellishments. How much do the crowns cost and how much are all the little extras? DisneyDeals.com has the crowns listed Buy it Now for $8 for 4 of them and I was wondering if this would be a neat activity for DD4 to do. Can anyone out there tell me the cost for the items and if their DD enjoyed doing this? Thanks for the input.

When i made one May 2004 for DD, it cost about $30.00 total, this was at PSB.
I saw the DisneyDeals listing and wasn't sure if it included the snap on crystals.
DD loved it for the PSB but doesn't wear it much otherwise.

The charms range from $1.75 to $5.00 depending on what they are. It can get expensive quickly.

$8 for 4 crowns is a good price. The problem is the charms and jewels can start adding up and become very expensive.

I bought one from a private ebay seller. (it seems they buy at disney and resell?) But, the crown came with a few of the jewles, and a center one of the princesses, that looks like a pin. It also came with a veil. This way, I figure, when we go to WDW, then I only have to pay full price to fill in a couple of spots. I think it was like 7.99 or so. She seems to have similar items always popping up. Good luck.

DD did that at World of Disney and if I remember correctly the crown itself was $10, then we added the veil and the snap ons. She really enjoyed it and still wears it around the house. She also brought it on our recent trip to wear to the princess dinner.
