Ever feel like adhesive is wiping out your scrapping buget. I found a blog or something that told how to make glue dots and decided to try it out. It worked well so I though I would share.
I used my scrap paper from my xyron and some paper left from glue dots I had bought but they say you can do this on wax paper too.
You have to but a bottle of Aileen's Tack-It over and over glue. It is made for fabric- you can brush it on a piece of fabric and it becomes a removeable sticker. I think it sells for about $5.00 but you would be able to make thousands of glue dots with the one bottle.
To make glue dots take the glue and make dots of it the size you want on a piece of paper (see above for types). Let it dry to clear. You can use it as a glue dot.
They seem to work very well. I know the place I saw it said they had used them for awhile and they were permenent.
You can make them any size you want. I made mine last night and used them this morning but small ones would dry in an hour or so.
Anyway I just thought I would let you all know.
