I don't want to cause a panic, but I called today for ADRs for Sept 27-30 and had a tough time at some places. Granted I am planning for a group of 15, but some places are filling up altogether. I tried to get LeCellier for dinner on the 29th and the only time they could do anyone was 8:45pm. I had not considered I would need to make them this early until I read some other posts on here that got me thinking about it. So if you are thinking about eating at the more popular rest. at the more popular times, better get your ADRs now. Although I'm sure there will be some cancellations as people finalize their plans, if there is somewhere you just have to eat at better act now.

I was told that the problem with LeCellier is only with people trying to get a table for two. When I made a reservation for a party of 4 it was wide open.

Hi Pixiesnake,

I think it's a combination of the free dining, the popularity of Le Cellier, and the group of 15 that you are booking for.

Did you try calling WDW Group Dining? Also, did you try seeing if you could get a better time if they put your group at 2 or 3 tables? We often go with a group of nine and we are generally seated at two tables right next to each other.

I believe it!! I believe that last week of Sept is going to be Wicked Crowded!!

Be Prepared, its Disney, but know you'll have crowds more so this year than last!!

I just called today to change some of my ADR's, Sept 14-21. I had no problems getting 1900 Park Fair late breakfast & Chefs de France lunch for the exact time I wanted, Rose & Crown was 10 minutes later than I requested, but 1900 Park Fair dinner was starting to fill up and I had to take something 30 minutes from my requested time. I didn't even try to change LeCellier, luckily it still worked into my park plans.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was actually talking to group dining and told them we were willing to split up, stagger our times a little, even do lunch instead of dinner. She said the only thing that was available at all was at 8:45pm and that they would have to divide us up at 4 tables. She even sounded shocked and said that she wondered what was going on that it was booked up like that. I told her it was probably because of free dining and it was the first day of the F&WF. She was able to offer me suggestions for other restaurants in Epcot that had the room to accommodate us. So I'm sure you're right that it is the combination of factors. LeCellier is my favorite (of what I've tried so far), and is obviously a favorite for many others. It will probably only be a problem for the very popular restaurants. I was able to get everything else I needed when I needed it.

We went that same week last year and the restaurants were crowded. I think the more popular locations will be harder to get into - especially the closer we get to it. I also think that week is so bad because everyone's trying to catch free dining, F&WF, and MNSSHP all three. After last year I won't try that week again - it was definitely a lot busier than the first week of September in our experience.
