Make sure those back seat passengers are all buckled in..health/safety FYI

I saw this on Good Morning America this morning, Dan. It's excellent advice. It's amazing what damage a "projectile" can do in a car accident.

I always insist on seatbelts in our car!! My problem is my inlaws don't beleive in them and will not make the kids buckle up. Nick always tells them he HAS to buckle up, but I know recently my FIL made Nick move to the back of the van while they were driving becuase another child was acting up. Well this put Nick without a seatbelt. He was really upset when we got to the church. I was furious:mad: I had to reassure Nick I wasn't mad at him, but at Grandpa. We were behind them so I saw what happened. It's hard becuase Nick likes to hang with his cousins and they are usually with grandpa. I wish there was a way to report them and have them pulled over for not having the kids buckled and/or in a car seat!!! I very seldom let Nick ride with them becuase of this. I guess they just don't get it.

Our vehicles do not move either without everyone belted, but I had no idea aboujt the backseat passenger unbelted factor - though if I thought about that it makes perfect sense.

Thank you Dan for the FYI, as always, bringing very helpful info to us all :)
