Make reservation now or wait for code??

I just pawned off my children for a weekend in January so my DH and I can get away for an adults-only weekend!! I want to go 1/4-1/7, so I'm just over 60 days away. Should I go ahead and book a room at regular price or wait and see if any codes come out in the next week or so? I have an AP and I'm a FL resident.

If I book now, I'll book POFQ with a King room. I'm thinking if a code comes out, I might can upgrade to WL for not much more than rack rate at POFQ.

Thoughts? Opinions appreciated!!

Depends on what type of code you are waiting on. Most of the times you can apply your code to an existing reservation so you could go ahead and book it. There are some pin codes floating around now for Jan special offer w/ free upgrade to hoppers and waterparks on packages, but no room only's are out yet. You can always call CRO and see if thier is a PIN attached to your name.

Sorry missed the AP/FL resident part: wait at least until after today the december packages on the AP site are not showing anymore. I'm hoping Jan and later Dec packages will come out today!!!!!!!
