Crystal palace question....I hear it is good food...and it is inside MK...love both of these things....but I can't stand Winnie The Pooh (don't know why...just never have been a fan...sorry) So in turn my kids have not seen much of Pooh and friends.
I have been trying to get reservations at Chef Mickey's..no such luck!
So I was considering trying for Crystal Palace.....should I or keep trying for CM's?
What would you do?
Keep trying if you really want CM. I switched days within a week of us leaving.
BUT I do have to say that CP was our Favorite. The food and character interaction was great!! Pooh even sat on the floor so he could hold Braeton. It was really sweet!
DH and I are going back when we go. it was DHs favorite buffet!!

Personally, we LOVED Crystal Palace...but then again, Noah LOVES Tigger and friends. If you or your kids aren't fans, I would suggest you keep trying for CM. The character buffets are pricey, and if you aren't there for the character interaction, I don't think it would really be worth it (just my 2 cents!). My kids probably ate about 2 bites there...but the character interaction made the price tag worth it for us!

I have heard of so many wish families having great luck with just a walk up (no reservation). So if you don't have any luck with CM, I'd try the walk up with your special button.

Ughh photopass question again....where is the link or code to get a discount on buying the photos on a CD?

Go ahead and buy it first and once you get the code then type in the code first and then your photopass card(s) numbers. :) But don't upload the photopass card(s) until you are completely registered with the code! Even if you don't "look" at them...(you probably already knew that...)

My DH was watching the Hunting channel last night and saw a commercial for GKTW! I was asleep...but he paused the tv and woke me up to see it....but I was still pretty asleep!:lmao: But I thought that was odd that they had a commercial for it....maybe to raise funds??
I do remember they gave the web address several times!
Have you seen it??

Gosh...I have not seen that. Seems fairly...strange, honestly. It is not like someone can just book the resort? Must be for fundraising... or just to get the word out that would also help with fundraising?

I think GKTW relies heavily on large corporate donations and I am sure the economy has cut into those substantially. :(

Tomorrow my princess:DD3 has her 3 month scans...... if you can please think of her or say a little prayer that everything will be ok. Thanks

Tim

Good luck...I will be thinking of you, 3 months scans are tough...I get what I refer to as PMS--Pre MRI Syndrome and it sucks....

Thanks to all. Her scans are at 8am. Tomorrow at about 11am can't come soon enough(we should be driving home by this time)

While we are storming heaven for that's nice DD....

We have another "old" Wish Trip DISer that also needs our prayers...

For those of you that are new...you will have to check out the pre-trip report for more details...But Amber Greenawalt's son, Sebastian, is a cancer survivor and they got back a few months ago from their wish trip. He is doing well, by the way!

Since they got back, Amber's youngest child, Savannah, has had a lot of medical problems. She has been hospitalized several times. They are fairly far down the road of trying to diagnose what has been going on with Savannah and are 50/50 that she has some sort of Mitochondrial disorder.

In the meantime, Amber has now gotten sick...not sure what is going on there...you will have to read her blog if you want more details on all of that. Her issues just came up this last week and could be minor.

I have been keeping up with them, and I know some of you "old" guys have too...I just feel like we should be praying for them this week, too.

Here is the link to their blog if you are interested in knowing more about their world. You can join me in praying for them, too! :)

We still don't know if we are going on our trip as planned. We should leave in 31 days! YIKES! I haven't started planning anything. I have learned that there are Wish lounges at DL and DCA. Has anyone gone on their trip doing IV meds. We still aren't out of the hospital-12 days now! Dev had his port removed and now has a double PICC line. We will have at least 2 more weeks IV meds maybe more. GOOD NEWS!!!!! Dev's heart valve is looking better and won't have to be replaced!!!!! God is good! Dev is feeling better now. He still isn't eating or drinking enough to come off IV mantience. We are encouraging him with his trip.

Need serious help with planning!

Photopass share opportunity.....should I do it?
It is with 9 other people....and i am just a little leary!
How do they split the photos?
Anyone done this before???

Wow!! :) 31 days is not very long!! :cool1:

DL and DCA...? What are those abbreviations? I think I am not awake from my nap yet! :lmao:

Dev heart valve is looking better - FANTASTIC!!!

And God is good! :)

What sort of things do we need to help ya with? :)

Um. Up to you! If you are ok with paying the $99 (pre-pay fee), then I would go ahead and pay it. If you are really looking to save some money, then it is definitely an option. I think sharing with 9 others is a little much for the person doing the share...but if it is a long time DISer (lots of posts, lots of time on the boards) then I would feel comfortable with it.

The only drawback with a share is that others will be looking at your pictures...which is not a big deal to me, really. The other drawback can be that it may take a while to get your pics...but if you order yourself you can go ahead and send off for it. :)

I did this (not with so many people, only 5 others) and still waiting for the cd, so hoping it will work out ok!! I have heard that with more than 6 in a group, the photopass sight gets bogged down with the amount of pictures in the account, and it becomes difficult to edit your photos.

OK..thanks ladies!! I decided to pass....she had less posts than me!
I don't want to somehow lose my photos!
