Majorly massive mistake

I just had to laugh at the op's post.:rotfl2: We had the biggest melt down, not by the kids, but by DH over COFFIE, and him not being able to find any one morning at AK.:sad2: Now I buy the mug at check in & I fill it up before he gets up each day.:goodvibes He is one of those who can drink it from anywhere, but he HAS to have it or else he is a pirate:!

There are definatly three main camps out there.

People who prefer to drink the type of coffee from Dunkin Doughnuts and McD's

People who like to drink Starbucks and similar

People who like black goo from any ole gas station, Perkins restaurants, etc.

I understand the first two groups. It's this third group I'm worried about.

For me I like starbucks and Via will be coming with me as backup to my bringing my own ground coffee and coffee maker.

The daily search for coffee at DW got pretty depressing by the end of my trip, although at times a bit comical.

You put McDs and Dunkin Donuts in the same camp? Huh? I'll pretend I didnt read that.

I can't drink Starbucks anymore. The coffee is too strong, and it hurts my stomach, and I feel all acidy for hours after consuming it, plus overstimulated in the caffeine. So... I may be in the minority here, but the Nescafe actually works for me.

However, I'd rather have Timmie's... their coffee doesn't burn up my stomach either.

I do admit that I go to Kona Cafe for their coffee, but I can't have too much or it burns like Starbucks.

I guess my point on this rambling post is that Disney's crappy coffee may work for some people with sensitive stomachs.

What do they serve at the McDonalds for coffee in Downtown Disney? The McD's coffee is doable in a pinch if you really need coffee in the morning. This thread is making me want to go get some good coffee. :surfweb:

If the McDonald's was still there, I would assume it would serve its own coffee.

I don't think outside vendors have to conform to McDonald's supplier contracts. The only weird thing is the Coke contract, the Hess Gas Stations can't sell Pepsi.

And yes the McDonald's closed a few months ago.

Wow, I didn't know that McD's closed. My wife already knew this so I just didn't pay attention but does that mean that the one by AK is also closed?

Resurrecting an old thread. Coffee

I have heard that there may be places serving Starbucks at disneyworld.

Rumor. But anybody have actual proof of it. Where might they be.

Coming soon to DTD... and they accept Starbucks Giftcards and Disney Giftcards.

Also they have switched from Nescafé to Joffreys Coffee since this thread ran in 2010.
