When the FD/RO leaks came out, our dates and resort were excluded from any kind of discount. 
Of course, we never receive a PIN either. On a whim, I sent an e-mail to Disney, not asking for a discount but rather information on how PIN codes were distributed. I never expected or demanded anything and stated that we'd still have a great time, even at rack rate/OOP. A couple of days ago, this is the response I received..

It reduced the price of our vacation by $4K without changing our resort and room choices.
I was able to speak to the Disney rep and thank her in person for this incredible gift.
