I've heard that before, but I just don't see a park going up in Houston. The weather just isn't agreeable enough. People may think that Orlando is unbearable in the middle of the summer, but it's nothing like Houston.

I have heard a Tennessee rumor before. Then I heard it wasn't Disney but Paramount Parks. Then I heard it wasn't Disney or Paramount but Six Flags. I am not counting on anything.

Actually, the Virginia rumour was true. They did buy the land and planned to build a Colonial America themed park. It was planned to be about 5 miles from my current home. They lost to the folks who want to protect the civil war battlefields. Now there are a gazillion homes built on that land. So much for saving the battlefields....

Disney also bought land in Philadelphia. They were GOING to build a Disney Quest, everyone was excited. NOPE, fell through and now there is just another empty lot!!

Why can't they build on in Kansas? It is in the middle, so virtually everyone could drive, and the winter is only two months long really? You can really tan in the summer because it gets really hot here. It is perfect!
