Majesty - Would You Do It?

My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary. We are considering booking the 4 night Majesty cruise, sailing in just over two weeks. Yikes! This cruise appeals to us because of its length and ports. How do people feel about the Majesty and this itinerary? We just want to get away, alone, for a few days. Good idea? (As an aside, we sailed on the Monarch for our honeymoon) Thoughts?

Hmmm. If you've sailed on the Monarch then you already know what to expect on the Majesty. Yes, the ship has been updated over the years, but its still pretty similar.

I would, sure! We sailed the Monarch's 4-day Baja itinerary a few times when she was in SoCal for precisely the same reasons you're looking at the Majesty. We really liked the itinerary and the 4 day schedule fit nicely as part of our vacation plans. Why not do it? The Majesty certainly isn't a "bells and whistles" experience like the modern mega ships, but that's not always what's called for. I think the relaxing break combined with the sentimental reminiscence of your honeymoon make it a great idea!
