Mainstay Suites Kissimmee

Can anyone tell me about their stay here.Breakfast info & shuttle to Disney. We're comparing this to Homewood Suites which is a little closer, but better breakfast ,but 1 less bathroom(4 teenagers coming w/us) Please advise...

I am bumping this up. We have a res there in Jan and I am curious.
<p> We have stayed at Homewood and all in all it was nice. We have a group of 7 (2 adults, 5 kids). Good buffet, nice rooms, clean pool, and friendly staff. Even knocked off a days rate because we had loud upstairs neighbors the last night!!

We just returned from a 10 day stay at the Mainstay suites. I have nothing but a good report.. The hotel was clean, neat. We got an excellent deal on Hotel Kingdom for the bi-level, which was bigger than any Disney room I ever stayed in. The maids cleaned up well and the room was stockeds with popcorn,tea, & coffee each day. What a deal. The breakfast was great too!!!Well worth it.

Hi! How long did it take to get to the Disney parks? How was the pool area and the lake area? Did the rooms look remodeled? Thanks for all the info!!

Yes the rooms looked remodeled. they were well kept. The pool was great. clean and the hot tub was good. My son & friend went down every nite after a day at the parks & stayed late. The trip to Disney was minimal 10-15 to MGM ,Epcot 20 to MK. The only traffic we hit was leaving Illuminations at nite to go back & Sat aft.traffic on the lower end od 192(3,4,5 mile) Other than that, we were even able to go back to the room at 4 or 5 have dinner on 192, then go back to the parks. I actually came home with money!
