it was a 4.5 and we were on the road when it happened.....my nieces refrigerator was moving and she thought ....OH SHOOT.....now the fridge is on the blink......but it was a good one for Mainers......I know it was probably a little bitty earthquake......but we are used to only big snows and ice storms......you know four or so feet of snow and twenty or so below zero temps......not the ground moving below us
haha! I'll have to catch the 11pm news tonight. I was sitting in my car reading a book at 8:10, waiting for my daughter to get out of dance class, but I didn't feel anything or notice anything out of the ordinary. We're south of Portland, though.
We live 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and didn't feel a thing- my Mom called us right up and said, "Did we just have an earthquake?" We didn't feel anything so she called my Aunt in another town/area and they felt it too. That's a nice little quake for this area. They had one in Bar Harbor on September 28th too.
