Does anyone know (have a list or pic of the menu board) what flavor cookies, AND what flavor ice creams you can choose from for the famous ice cream cookie sandwich at Main Street Bakery? (keeping in mind I'm hoping to use a snack credit, not sure if it makes a difference?) What does everyone out there choose when YOU order?

I chose the chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. Actually, I wasn't given a choice of ice cream. The other available cookie was a sugar cookie with sprinkles. Very large ice cream sandwich as it was two full scoops of vanilla! Yum!!

I can't remember if they have other ice cream flavors at main street bakery. I've had the sandwich there with plain vanilla.

At Fountainview Cafe in Epcot, you can get the same ice cream cookie sandwiches and they'll ask what flavor ice cream you want in the middle...vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate chip or cookies and cream!

I don't know if they gave us an ice cream choice, but when we got there they were dishing out fresh, warm oatmeal raisin cookies, so DH asked for those. Oh my gosh, that thing was good! I think we'll probably go back and go for the oatmeal cookies again.

I dont believe they give you a choice of ice cream at MSB.. I sure would love to get a choice tho!

Mmmmmm, I have a few flavors in mind ...... I guess it would just complicate thing for the CMs though..... and more so for the guests who have to pick just ONE flavor. I am sure there would be plenty people trying to see if they can have 3 different kinds of icecream on their cookie sandwich - thereby taking three times longer to decide. ;)

I didn't know you could get them there! Any where else on property?? I know there's another place in MK but I'm drawing a blank on it right now. Thanks!!

So, no choice of ice cream flavor but YES choice of cookie? :cloud9: Choco chip, sugar cookie with sprinkles, oatmeal raisin......do we have them all covered? Anyone think of a variety NOT mentioned? (I'm guessing they're SOFT ones too, right? Mmmmmmmmmm)

I just split one with a friend a couple weeks ago. They are GREAT!

I've had them twice w/choco chip & vanilla ice cream. Wasn't given a choice but that is what I would have chosen anyway....:rotfl: I really didn't care for the cookie tho, it was rock hard & had to just eat the ice cream with a spoon and then ate only part of the cookie.

We got these for the first time this past November at the Fountainview Cafe in Epcot - they were so delicious! None of us knew how big they'd be, and we sent DH in to buy them...they're huge. The chocolate chip cookies were chewy and yummy - I got Cookies and Cream, DD got chocolate and DMIL got Strawberry (the best)...they are a must-do snack from now on!

Not the ones at MK - I've had many a hard & crunchy ones there. So I tried Sleepy Hollow last Oct - same hard & crunchy. I guess I'll try Fountainview next.

I don't know if they do this any more, but I think you used to be able to order the sandwich from the ice cream parlor (next door to the MS Bakery) and you could order all kinds of combinations of ice cream and cookies (including mixing your top and bottom cookie).

Here are some pics for you! I ordered this from Main Street Bakery, didn't try to get it from the ice cream parlor. I know they used to do them with different flavors of ice cream but don't know from where or how long ago.

The cookie is hard, but I didn't find it too hard. You probably could ask them to warm up the cookie for 30 secs or so, before they put the ice cream on it, if you wanted it soft!

HTH!

:idea:OK, who is with me on formally requesting a Peanutbutter cookie with Chocolate ice cream:love: on the menu??!!! :dance3:

Oh, gosh, if we're putting in a wish list - I want a Chocolate Cookie with some of that Strawberry ice cream from the Fountainview! Chocolate-covered strawberries.....mmmmm.......
