Main street's french toast loaf...

For a special treat I made the MK Main Street's french toast loaf for our first meal of the New Year. It was quite good. Next time though I will have to make 2 of them though since we are such piggys.

It reminded me somewhat of a bread pudding. Very tastey! I would highly recommend it.

Didn't actually eat it at MK. I found the recipe on Allears. It claims it is from the bakery shop on Main Street. Very good. Will have to make it again soon.

Yep, Ive made it at home (jsut made it for Christmas) and had it at the Bakeshop. While its great to be able to have it at home, for some reason it's always better sitting outside on Main St. watching the people pour into the MK for the day.

Every time I have gone into that shop for breakfast they had it even though I couldn't eat it because of allergies. But it sure does look GOOD.
