Main Street Bakery DDP questions

We love Main Street Bakery and I'm wondering how we can use snack and CS credits here. I see from the snack thread that many things are covered. But how does it work if I want to use a CS for breakfast or lunch? Do I need to get a breakfast sandwich or can I get a couple of pastries and a coffee?

We chose a sandwich, carrot cake and bottle drink. Our little one chose an Uncrustable, milk and dessert item.
