Main pool closed at OKW

Just received our ressie for April and they noted the main pool would be closed sometime during April at OKW. Has anyone heard anything about this??

Our reservation is check-in April 6 - depart April 27 - the ressie states "Main pool will be closed for refurbishment during your stay" - Bummer

I just called MS and they have no record of anything scheduled. They offered to call over and check with the resort which I appreciated. The resort (OKW) reported to MS that they have nothing on their schedule at this time for April.

It would be fairly unusual foir a resort to close it's main pool during Spring Break month. This type of maintenance is usually reserved for Jan-Feb time periods. I could understand an unexpected outage, but a scheduled maintenance cycle would not make sense.

Lets hope this is just a rumor and until confirmed should not be considered credible.

Obviously if this is printed on your ressie then it is more than a rumor. It would be nice if we knew exactly when during your stay this was scheduled. I know you don't have that info, but Disney should.

Also apparently someone at Disney isn't communicating well with their coworkers.

I just called MS to question the memo on the ressie. They put me on hold - the music tape was broken - that was pleasant. Well, they came back on - and could not understand the error. The only pool that is closed is at Saratoga. So good new for all going to OKW in April.

I'm so glad it was a mistake!! We're going to be at OKW for the first time april 17th-24th and the girls are very excited to go to the pool and the cool sand castle slide!
