Mailing something from inside the parks

I have a feeling my kids will want to mail something or at least a postcard to their friend while we are in DW. I am going to have a few postcard stamps and I'm going to try to have a small flat rate box ready to go. I think I can mail the box from our resort but could we mail it from inside a park instead? Is there anything more magical if we do (like a cool DW postmark)?

At one time there was a mailbox on Main Street, not sure if that's still there. The postmark would be Lake Buena Vista.

as well as the info above, i think the mailboxes at hs-formerly on streets of america- are gone, but i don't think they were functional as i recall

Go to City Hall and ask to have your stuff stamped with the rubber stamp they have there. It's how you get a special mark; if you just mail it on main street, it won't have that on there.
