Mailing from Castaway Cay to Canada - Cost?

Does anyone know how much it costs to mail postcards to Canada from Castaway Cay??

The cost of postage is $0.55 USD for small postcard, $0.65 for a larger one. My dad sent a letter from there and it was $0.65 USD. You must bring cash to the Castaway Cay post office as they do not take charges.

Actually you pay for the stamp in US$ but the stamp is Bahamian

We were on the Jan 8 -12/06 4 night Wonder and I mailed myself a postcard from Castaway Cay.

It arrived yesterday , 18 days not too bad for "island time"

The Bahamian dollar is tied to the value of the US dollar (ie 1 Bahamian dollar is equal to 1 US dollar).

are about $0.50- 0.65 cents. here's a tip though...you need to buy your posts cards on the ship or at Castaway Cay BEFORE going to the post office as they actually don't have post cards at the post office. Lots of people were very disappointed on our cruise since they went to the post office on the way back from the ship and realized that they couldn't get the post cards there...oh, and bring a pen with you too!
