Mailing Christmas Cards

Hello! Can anyone tell me about the post office on main street. I would like to mail my Christmas Cards from Disney. Can you get special stamps there? Does the mail have a Disney Cancellation Stamp?

I do not know about the post office on main street. I do know that you can order a variety of stamps online from www.usps.com with mickey and other characters on them. Sorry I could not help any better.

They aren't cancelled with a WDW postmark. It says "Lake Buena Vista" or something like that.

Thanks for the information. The post office is in City Hall. I can't find any other information. I went to the USPS web site and the Christmas stamps have not been released. There is a Disney Stamp, I believe it is a princess one.

All mail collected from Disney boxes is sent to Lake Buena Vista Post Office.

The disney stamps are love themed. There is mickey and minnie, cinderella and the prince. lady and the tramp, beauty and the beast

I've heard of people going to Christmas, FL and having their Christmas cards postmarked there. I don't recall how far of a drive it is from WDW, and of course you have to be willing to tear yourself away from WDW to go there.

That's where I mail my cards every year since I moved to FL - Christmas is probably an hour East of Disney - it's a good drive - about 40 miles - close to an hour drive. It's a little tiny town, where the post office is probably the most well know landmark. There is also a Fort (Christmas) from the 1800's there that can be toured.

If you go too close to Christmas the line is long to get into the PO - they have rubber stamps in the PO and tables set up so you can "decorate" or envelopes a bit more!

You could always make a stop at Jungle Adventures while you are in the area....and visit Swampy the largest Alligator ever built.... "he" contains the gift shop!
