I did a topper similar to that...but I bent mine so it reminds you of the front entrance... I'll post a photo today! Have frickin' funny!!!
Since you did a photo mat, I'm glad I decided to go w/ a set of embellished shapes... even though I know we are in two different groups...

PrincessNancy96 - what a cute ToonTown set - I've tried playing around with that tent for toontown before but could never really figure out what I wanted to do with it. Great idea for the #1 ribbons!

DIT - love those little trolls! great pieces!

I was going to use it as a journal box.... but I cut out the letters and just kind of threw them on the white box of the tent...and it came together... I was like YEAH! Of course everyone in the house came running to my scraproom because I guess my YEAH, was a bit loud!

Holly, yes he's holding a sword. It's not clipart, but a photo someone took on a trip and it looks like the trolls were in a shopping market or something. I cropped it so there was less junk around him and then printed it on white cardstock and then cut him out. Here's where I found the photos:

I get a Norway set!!CUTE!!
When we went to WDW last year and went to Norway the shop keepers asked if we had found all the trolls instead of Mickeys. They had hidden trolls all over the place and it was so much fun to look for them!
When we go to Norway next year I am definitely doing a troll theme!

Pegasus is working on her "The Seas" piece - she made her paper piecings today, and we came up with ideas for the topper.

I, on the other hand, got pretty much nothing done this weekend, and am going to crack down come Thursday.

Ok, here is my club cool..
after trying one way, it look horrible...took some time and look over photos of the beverage dispensers and it hit me.. I utilized the yellow and the circle and silhouette circles to come up w/ my design.. The Club Cool is blue glitter letters to make it pop...
The checklist is done in the colors of the circles I used. I hope you like it.. I'm getting ready to make a 2 page spread of my family utilizing this template but on a bigger scale.. I'll use this set for our next trip..

This is so the direction I was thinking, but since I have time...I'm going to come up with a new idea... (Even though we're all in different groups...)

Group 11 - DHS
The film strip is a title and photomat in one. I left the top of the 3 openings unglued so that you could slide a photo in and I also tossed the bits cut from those openings so that you could use them to trace the size of the photos if you just wanted to glue them on top. The stars on the film strip and the one on the photomat are cut from glittery paper.

Time to vent. I've hit a wall with my animal kingdom piece. I just can't get into Camp Minnie-Mickey and I can't decide on anything else. This, coupled with the fact that I splashed hot oil all over my arms while I was cooking on Sunday has me hurting and frustrated. I'm trying to do these last pieces for the swap and I'm getting nowhere. Nothing seems to be working. Was hoping to have them ready to mail this weekend and finish a swap early for once. Anyone have a completely new topic I can use? Every other category came together so easily....I don't know what my problem is with this group. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

How about doing Kali Rover rapids- a yellow raft could make a good photo box or mat- use 2 different colors and maybe pop up the outside layer (to give the feeling of the raft and using some twine around it as an embellishment. If you have the Pooh font you could cut in a black/gray color and use some white inking to make the title look like it is made out of the charred wood along the trip.

I'm just finishing up my Camp Minnie-Mickey for the Animal Kingdom elements swap and had run into a similar problem. I did a search for images from it and found some different signage from the park that gave me some ideas. It also showed different decorations around the area. The things that stuck in my head include a canoe with the camp name (I think a bear was holding it), Donald fishing, a circular sign with a leaf & acorn & camp name, and the signs for the character greetings. Don't know if this helps any, but hopefully it can help spark something in a different direction if you stick with CMM
