Is there anyway/address to mail in extra payments for your loan? I can't find any info online or in the documents we rcvd. I can call Acct Monday, but was wondering if anyone has been able to do this before? Thanks!

From the 2009 Planner:
Loan & Escrow Payment Mailing and all payment-related correspondence:
Disney Vacation Club
Attn: Member Accounting
PO Box 470727
Celebration, FL 34747-0727

Make check payable to: Disney Vacation Club

You can also make payments online. I just charged the extra payment to my Disney visa and then did an online payment to them. I suppose you could use your debit card as well. It was very easy. Also, the payment posted very quickly too.

I've charged additional loan payments to my Disney visa as well, looking for additional reward points on the visa. It is quite easy to do on the member web site.

I do this as well. Payment on-line, earn my points and pay in full at the end of the month with zero interest.

Did a 10 year loan and I make the monthly payments on my VISA and have made 4 extra payments toward the principal the same way to cut down the years

I use my debit card to pay online as we do not use CCs. This is the easiest way for us! And- only 2 payments left!!! Can you say "Add-on??!!"

I do extra payments by Bill Pay..no problems at all!

When we signed our paperwork we inquired about this they told us to make sure we call and tell them we want to make a priciple payment this way we are paying down the principle and will pay down faster

Does your monthly payment get automatically charged to your visa or do you manually submit your payment online?

If your loan is through Disney, you don't need to call them. Sign in, go to your Loan. Scroll down:

Remaining Principal $x Pay Toward Principal

Click on the pay towards principal link in your account, you see:

Payment Type Loan - Principal

It gives you the principal remaining, then a box for you to type in what you want to pay. Seriously could not be easier.

The poster was saying that they pay online through the DVC member page, so I would guess they go through the process above. :)

When financing through Disney, your normal payments are set up as an autopay from the *bank*, NOT from a card.

Yes I do manual payments on my Disney Visa to get the rewards.

Auto pay would be on my checking account

I see. I did understand that auto pay would be set up to a bank account, so then I was wondering if you set up your 10 year loan at the slightly higher % instead of the 10%? I remember reading that by setting auto pay it gave us the 10% interest rate. And if you set up to send in monthly payments, the interest rate was up a bit like 11%. Just curious. :thumbsup2 Thanks
