A great big THANK YOU to Mulan @ Epcot China on 05/07/10 @ 1100! My three year old daughter is a HUGE Mulan fan and kept asking to see her. On 05/07/10, at 1100 when the World Showcase opened, we headed straight to the China Pavillion and was told that Mulan would be out in a few moments. There was one family ahead of us to see Mulan. After our meeting, photos, and autograph, Mulan kissed my daughter on her cheek and left a lipstick mark. My daughter was so happy and immediately told me to take a picture of it.
At the time, there was no one else in line yet to see Mulan and as I was putting my daughter's autograph book away, Mulan came over and took my daughter by the hand and said she would show her around the garden. I think I was more in shock than my daughter! Mulan walked her around the little garden/pond area and stopped to point out items to my daughter. My daughter asked about Mushu and starting singing songs from the Mulan movies and dancing. Mulan spent about 10 minutes with my daughter, holding her hand, talking and walking with her, and showing her around. Of course, I was taking photos/videos the whole time! And so was the fabulous PhotoPass photographer!
By now, more people had arrived to see Mulan and tried to get closer to where Mulan was walking with my daughter. The Disney Cast Member was so fabulous and directed everyone away from them and politely told them where they should line up. Mulan walked my daughter back to front, gave her a long hug, and a kiss on the other cheek. My little girl was in heaven!
A great big MAHALO (Thank You!) to Mulan, as well as the PhotoPass photographer, and cast members for making this wonderful surprise a definite Magical Moment! You have made a little girl in Hawaii believe that Dreams Do Come True!
