Magicla Express Question

I'm travleing to Disney in December and will be staying at Old Key West. Am wondering cna you use Magical Express for DVC? Also we're not the owners there, staying with sister in law, so our name won't be on reservation, can we still use ME? Do they deliver bags to room at Key West or will we have to pick up at check in site, since our name won't be attached to a room number?

People staying DVC can use DME the same as any other Disney guest, whether they are owners, guests of owners, or point renters. Unlike with the rest of us, DME must be reserved through DVC Member Services. You'll get all the info there, but like I said, the end result will be your using of DME the same exact way as the rest of us do.

If your name is not in the reservation record, you can't use Magical Express — in fact, you aren't even supposed to stay overnight in the room.

Your sister-in-law needs to add your names to the reservation as guests in the room. She can add names up to the maximum occupancy of the room (such as a total of 8 people in a 2-bedroom). Once your sister-in-law adds you to the reservation, she can reserve Magical Express for you through DVC Member Services.

If your name isn't on the reservation, you can't use DME, you can't get room keys, you can't take advantage of EMH's. I would be sure that your name is on the reservation so that you can take advantage of those things. Once your name is listed, you can use DME.
