Anyone use Magic Jack for telephone service over the computer for $19.95 a year? I just saw the commercial, and looked at the webpage, and it looks interesting.
DD is living on campus at college, and I'm considering getting a Magic Jack so she (and her roommates) could call people without using cell phone minutes or long distance.
Does anyone have it? Does it work well?
The only drawback I can see right now is that they don't offer the area code where her school is located. She'd have to get a number for the next area code over, but that wouldn't really matter for outgoing calls.
