Magicians on board

One of my older DD's and my favorite shared experience on our last cruise was watching the magician (sorry, really bad with names) perform one evening. How common is having a magician versus a comedian or some other act? I'm sure there's no way to know ahead of time which you get, right? Would it be more likely to be on a 4, 5 or 7 night cruise?

Thanks!

The longer the cruise, the more entertainers you will have, and the better the odds that at least one will be a magician.

DCL likes magicians and ventriloquists. There's always been one or the other, or both on all my cruises.

On our 4 night last year we had Kyle Knight and Mistie. We liked them. :)

And if you do have magicians onboard, be sure to see when *else* they perform. The Knights (assuming he is telling the truth that Mistie is his wife) performed at the big show-time, but also had a kid-focused show in D-Lounge (I believe) where he actually taught them a trick, and they had a more adult-focused show at one of the lounges in the later evening on another day.

Ten cruises and we have had a magician twice. One was horrible!
