MagicBands shipping to Alaska...

Anyone here from the Great North? Our family is originally from AK (we're in NY, now), but we're taking my parents-in-law and my SIL who live in AK on Dec 1st. I remember reading once here that a few folks from AK never received their MBs, or got them late. Shipping anything to AK always takes longer, but I'm wondering if I should have them sent there at all. On the other hand, I'd love for it to work out; my SIL has Down Syndrome and is a HUGE Disney fan, so I know that getting the MBs ahead of time will definitely add some magic to her day.

Thoughts?

worst case scenario, as long as the tickets are tied to you account, you can get bands at the resort. They may not be the specific colors you want, but you'll still get them
