MagicBands, Park Tix, and renting points

I need some help I've been to wdw plenty of times, however on my next trip I will be renting points. So I jus wanted to know this will work with my park tickets and using magic bands. I usually buy my park tickets at the Disney Store. Can I still do this and have the tickets linked to the magic bands when I check in or do I need to buy them through disneyworld.com? If anyone has experince or knowledge on renting points and using magic bands I would greatly apperciate it. Thanks!

It doesn't matter where you buy the tickets from. And the tickets aren't linked to your Magic Band, they're linked to your MDE (My Disney Experience) account, which you'll want to do before you leave so that you can book FP+ up to 60 days before you arrive.

Buy your tickets ahead of time from UnderCover Tourist and have them ship them to you. Once you receive them link them to your MDE account (that should already have your resort reservation linked to it).

You'll customize your magic bands and be good to make ADRs 180+10 out and FP+ at 60 days out.
