Disney Store started their “Twice a Year” sale this morning…there are several Magic Bands on sale, about $10 less than normal…the Wish one is less than that.
Chance to save some bucks !

I was thinking about getting a MB but I don't want to buy anything else and the shipping cost kind of erased the good deal. Oh well! It's still a great deal for those who are getting more items.

We got MB+ for our upcoming trip (part of the Disney fun for us) and I want to make sure I get this correct.

At DL the MB + can:

Scan into the parks - YES
Scan into LLs - YES
Scan at Photo Pass photographers - YES
Download ride photos - No. I have to grab the code on the pic and then manually enter it into the app.

Opens my hotel room at GC - ??? (No?)
Charge food and souvenirs to my room - ???

Anything else I'm missing? I'm used to WDW and love the magic band there.

It would be SO NICE if MB+ could do all of the things it can at WDW, but sadly, DLR does not have the technology for that and it would be cost prohibitive (supposedly) at this time to change over.
