Magicband+ Questions

Hello. This is my first time using the Magicband+ and have a few questions.

My son is being managed by me in MDE. I have him on the reservation, tickets, etc. I will be managing and selecting the Genie+ LL.

1. Should his Magicband+ be paired to my phone or his phone (if logged into MDE as me)?
2. How do I sync the Magicband+ steps to my health app?

While waiting for responses (sorry, I don't have a MB+ so cannot help) you may wish to read the MB+ thread as it may contain some of the answers you're looking for.

That's not a feature of any version of MagicBand.

1. The band's serial number is paired to a profile in MDE. If that is under your account, then the MB wil be visible on either phone that is signed in to that account. However, the MB+ should be paired using Bluetooth to the individual phone that would be used if you were using the features that require it - the Bounty Hunters game for example. Associating a band with an account/profile is different than pairing via Bluetooth (though both will require the MDE app).

2. As mentioned, the MB+ does not have a step counter.

Apologize for this dumb question…Have a MB+ from last year. Did not pair it it with blue tooth but I’m guessing if I want to pair it, if the MB is charged it will show up in the Bluetooth menu on your phone?

I just looked and yes I can see my mb+ in my Bluetooth menu.

It should. You may have to put it into discovery mode by holding the button on the back of it. If it's charged up, any capable device should see it.
