I got one in the park yesterday! Just waited for the Emporium to open up and grabbed it. It is so cute. And honestly, I’m easily passed because watching the little castle light up as the fireworks over the actual castle went off truly sparked joy.

Same - I ended up buying a Christmas one so that I knew I would have it in time. I am going to see which one I like best “in person” during my trip before buying anymore!

Only 3 of the Disneyland designs are currently available on shopDisney:

• Disneyland Castle Fireworks (black)
• Disneyland Marquee/castle (light blue)
• Happiest Place on Earth (light blue, Magic Key holder)

The other 2 Disneyland-specific designs that are sold at the parks are:

• DCA Walt & Mickey Storytellers statue (dark blue)
• First visit Disneyland (gray)

There's one called "Disneyland Castle Fireworks" but that has the Disneyland "D" on the front and the castle on the back, where I doubt there are any electronics to display fireworks. Is yours the "Disneyland Marquee" design with the castle on the front and the Disneyland entrance sign on the back?

Mine is the Marquee one with the castle on the face and the classic entrance sign on the band.

They go pretty crazy during WOC too. I was just walking along the pier when mine started vibrating and flashing. Also it went off during the flag retreat.

Plus, of course, the other rides people have mentioned it reacts to like Web Slingers and HM.

Nice! We didn't do WOC on this trip (and we missed Web Slingers too), but I'm looking forward to it on the next one. I know it's silly, but I am easily impressed by shiny flashy things.

Has anyone tried the Magic Bands at Disneyland? Are they worth the money? It would be nice to be scanned in without having to get my phone out. And we are staying at GCH so I could use it to open my room. Do they do anything else? Can you save them for future trips and use them again?

I have been using my MB+ that I got for WDW in September at Disneyland since they launched. I am often pushing a wheelchair and find it much easier to pull out my wrist to scan into rides or the park than trying to fish out my phone and get it open to our tickets while still trying to push a wheelchair. I think that is my biggest plus! I also went solo this past weekend and used my MB+ (I have it so I just always use it) and found it convenient then too. I am not sure I would have bought one just for Disneyland but since we had them from WDW, it has been nice to use them in the parks. It will also start vibrating at some odd times (exit of Webslingers?). I have the lavender Minnie one and my Mom has the red mom one.

Yep, I'm sure they will add more functionality to it as time goes on. There's just a lot of logistics that go into all of that, so I get it. I told a family member that I don't think I would have bought one if I was just making one visit a year or something. But, as a frequent visitor/keyholder, it does make a difference just not having to dig out my phone for every LL and for entry/hopping. Just boop and go.

We didn't really spend enough time in Galaxy's Edge to mess with the Bounty Hunters game, but I'll have a lot more time to do it on my next trip, so we'll see if it's worth it for that as well.
