I was wondering what the deadline is (ie. how many days before arrival) to book a trip and still get the magicbands shipped to your home instead of having to pick them up at the resort when you arrive.

Well my MDE says to customize my Magic Bands before July 18th, and my vacation begins Aug 18th.

MagicBands are only shipped to US addresses. Since you are in Canada, they will be sent to the resort. As long as you customize them at least 10 days prior to check-in, they will be as customized when you get them at the resort.
